Giving Day is about the tremendous impact you can make with your gift—and the white-knuckled anticipation, friendly (but fierce!) competition, and obsessive browser-refreshing fun that comes along with it.

Challenges

Areas of Greatest Need Challenge

You provided over $121,000 to WPI’s Areas of Greatest Need, unlocking $20,000 for the fund. This challenge was sponsored by Karen ’82 and George ’82 Oliver.

President's Circle Challenge

25 members of our community made a President’s Circle gift of $2,000 and above this Giving Day, unlocking $15,000 from Russ Bozek ’03 to establish a President’s Circle scholarship. This scholarship will be awarded to a sophomore student for their remaining three years, seeing them through to Commencement.

Alumni Participation Challenge

312 alumni made a gift this Giving Day as part of this challenge sponsored by WPI trustee Steve Rusckowski '79.

The Student Experience: Most Improved Leaderboard awards the top two groups that have improved the most from last year’s Giving Day in terms of unique donors. We also selected two groups that had at least 5 unique donors by raffle.

The Ambassador Leaderboard

Giving Day ambassadors—WPI students, alumni, parents, and faculty/staff—rally their friends, family, classmates, and community to join them in supporting our home on the Hill. We award the top two student ambassadors and top two alumni/parent/faculty/staff ambassadors with the most unique donors. (Please note that ties are broken by dollar amounts.) We also chose an additional three ambassadors with at least five unique donors by raffle.
